Ten Cardinal Rules in the Kitchen

  1. Always put cinnamon powder on your breakfast coffee. (for that feel-good vibe to last the whole day)
  2. Never ever put tons of pepper on your soup! (Pepper overpowers and ruins the taste of the soup)
  3. During Christmas season, if you don't have apple cider, get the most sour apple ( the green ones) and juice it and boil the juice, serve with cinnamon stick. Perfect after dinner!
  4. The best pick-me-up drink for the day is salabat. Really, I'm not kidding! Besides, ginger is good for the sinuses, so if you have a cold, drink salabat!
  5. Knives for kitchen dwellers (like me) are like guns for soldiers. If you have the new knives that can't be sharpened, put them on the freezer to bring back the sharpness.
  6. Nestle Cream is very versatile. You can use it for salads, making homemade ice cream, and of course, cream soup just in case you run out of Campbell's.
  7. If your crush is gonna have breakfast @ yoour home, make aphrodisia pancakes! Put chocolate bits or chips in pancake batter and add pinches of cinnamon and nutmeg (not too much nutmeg, though), and voila! Instant aphrodisia pancakes!
  8. Your kitchen is not complete without patis! Yeah, that lowly patis! It's very versatile, can use to salten up any dish, even pasta!
  9. You have to eat your own food creation even if it doesn't taste good.
  10. If having difficulty concerning a recipe, consult mother.

Living life to the fullest means eating any food you can encounter.

Ciao!
